Nigeria American Democracy Institute Inc, owner of the platform Nigerian American Political Forum announced the cancellation of the ENUGU STATE GOVERNORSHIP DEBATE scheduled for Sunday, February 12th, 2023. The Zoom debate was canceled because there was no unanimous agreement among the candidates to attend.
NIGERIAN AMERICAN DEMOCRACY INSTITUTE INC., advances, deepens and enhances democracy and freedom for Nigerian Americans by encouraging them to actively engage and participate in the political process both in the United States and Nigeria. Our mission is democracy advocacy and the Diaspora Zoom Meeting is an ongoing event to provide a platform for civil discourse between the candidates of various political offices and the electorates who will vote them into the offices.
To accomplish our mission we will publish at our website, the full video recording of the Diaspora Zoom Meetings where we interacted with the three major candidates, namely; Hon. Barr. Chijioke Edeoga (LP), Dr. Peter Mbah (PDP), Hon. Frank Nweke Jnr. (APGA)
Furthermore, on Sunday, February 19th, 2023 we will broadcast live audio recordings of our interactions with the candidates at the Diaspora Zoom Meeting on several local radio stations in Enugu State. This will enable the good people of Enugu State to hear from their candidates directly without the noise of the political advertisements and campaign.
The Nigerian American Political Forum appreciates the three top candidates for taking time out of their busy campaign schedule to speak directly to members of the Diaspora community. We wish them the best in the election and we hope one of them emerges as the Executive Governor of Enugu State in 2023.
